TOUR #5B: City Tour and Oak Alley Plantation (Including Lunch)

 $120/person

 From 9:30AM – 3:30PM

Discover the Paris of America, and see the glamorous antebellum years, when New Orleans was one of the richest cities in America. We will visit the French Quarter, the Warehouse District, and the Garden District, a showcase of magnificent houses and gardens like Anne Rice’s Mansion. Next comes St. Charles Ave, a verdant promenade, Loyola and Tulane, historical Universities, and Audubon Park. We follow the Mississippi River and come to St. Louis Cemetery Nº 3, City of the Dead, City Park, Lake Pontchartrain, and return to town via Creole Esplanade Ave, and also see the Superdome, Sports Arena, and Convention Center, and Medical District. After this city tour, we will go to Oak Alley Plantation. More than ten movies were filmed at this plantation – An Interview with the Vampire, Sweet Charlotte, and Primary Colors are some of them. In addition to this fact, the view from the front door of this plantation towards the Mississippi River is fantastic. Twenty eight Live Oak Trees will welcome you, and the tradition, culture, and opulence of this plantation will teach about the antebellum southern life.
