one of the richest cities in America. We will visit the French
Quarter, the Warehouse District, and the
Garden District, where there is a showcase of magnificent houses and
gardens like Anne Rice's Mansion.
Next comes St Charles Avenue, a verdant promenade where you will find the historical Loyola and Tulane universities and the marvelous Audubon Park. After that, following the course of the magnificent Mississippi River, we will visit St. Louis Cemetery Number 3, the City of the Dead, City Park, Lake Pontchartrain, and then return to town via Creole Esplanade Avenue. Longue Vue House and Gardens is a Classical Revival Estate featuring eight acres of gardens like the Walled Garden, the Canal Garden, the Wild Garden, etc. and a Palladian style house and outbuildings with a magnificent collection of American and English antiques.
